Demountable Pedestrian Islands
The Poletech Demountable Traffic Island was initially developed for the prestigious Queen Victoria Memorial and the Royal Mall refurbishment leading to Buckingham Palace - London, England.
The innovative Poletech Demountable Traffic system is available in the following sizes; 1200mm x 1200mm, 1500mm x 1500mm & 1800mm x 1800mm. Islands can be bespoke to other sizes (please telephone for details).
The system can accommodate any diameter and manufacture of traffic signal or beacon pole and most base lit bollard units, thus ensuring that you are not tied to a specific supplier when needing replacements. High and low voltage system accommodated.

How many of your island sites are out of action at any one time?
Poletech offers the flexibility that island sites can be removed and/or relocated if needs change; costs of doing so need not be an inhibiting factor. Temporary or seasonal installation is possible and, importantly, you can have the luxury of practically testing a location knowing that most of the installation can be reused elsewhere.
The Poletech test-site islands have survived very high impacts, remaining intact and in position proving the successful crash absorption of Poletech's anchoring system as against other island sites, which often shatter on impact.
Poletech offers a total package or the option of selecting those component parts of the package, which could be used in either a traditional or a Poletech installation.
